Does using ultra triode burn the tube out faster.

Effiecient speakers need less power .power does make a different .lowrhers can only handle 5 watts ,5 watts cant drive most speakers .so the right power is needed for what speakers you have .

Just got done reviewing the EVO300 Floyd and that was a WOWZA moment, holy crap does that Floyd design integrated kick some ass!! Would LOVE to get our hands on this phono pre for review. I was horrified watching you reach in with both hands and touch the leads on the capacitors. That could easily kill you. I appreciated the walkthrough of the guts, though.

Very few manufacturers seem interested in showing their products' innards. Makes you wonder why. My PL amp is beautifully built. Bravo PrimaLuna! ps -- wish you would show under the "can" (7:50).

My stock wheels on my F150 look better than any cheesy aftermarket wheel out there.

Just picked up a used DiaLouge Premium integrated. Running a set of KT88 Gold Lions. Just a STUNNING PRODUCT.

Excellent amplifier. Not keen on the Triode, a bit flat sounding. I also have the Muzishare x7 which is absolutely on par.

Would EVO 400 amplifiers used as mono-blocks have the necessary power and bandwidth to drive something like the YG Acoustics SONJA 2.3𝑖 speakers?

Im sure this sounds amazing and I would have bought one if it had inputs for a second TT or arm and balanced inputs and outputs. A rumble filter would also been nice. Cant see why they left this out :(

I had ordered WILLSENTON R300 Tube Amp and from the parts that PrimaLuna uses, is the Willsenton built at the same factory? Same paint job, parts (Resistors, Choke, Relays), Transformers are sourced in Japan. The sound from the Willsenton R300 Tube is Wonderful!!!!

Hi, I currently own a used PrimaLuna DiaLogue Two. I am thinking about upgrading. I learned that the EVO 100 is the 3rd generation of my unit. IDK for an extra $1,000. If it's worth it. The EVO 200, is $1,600. more than my used unit. I am confident that the EVO 200 will be a better overall performer than my current model. But I'm wondering if the new EVO 100 will provide an 'appreciable difference' in sound performance Both the new EVO 100 & 200 come with an amazing headphone amp which my current model doesn't have & that costs money. Any thoughts regarding the costs of these products vs their Performances? Thanks!

I'm going to be buying this amp...can you tell me what preamp DAC you are using ...love this sound...my real goal is to make this work with for music and a DAC to use hdmi with my Oled tv...any advise?

How do I integrate this with a home theater? Someone who has the same speakers B&W 703 that I do switched from Classe to this and said it's divine. I don't even have a Classe and clearly this will take my speakers to new levels. Can it handle movies and gaming? There's a Home Theater input and I guess I could use the pre-outs from my AVR for the LR and connect them. How does volume work between the 2?

Sonically, the ultra-linear sound is intended to be generally clean, bright, sharp, punchy sound while the triode sound is intended to be smooth, sweet, mellow, natural sound.

It’s a shame tubes are so hard to come by. And prices have more than doubled in the past couple of years.

I would be interested about how it performs head to head with the EVO400. I own one replacing a 2 year old EVO200. . I love the sound and my Martin Logan speakers love it .Love to see a comparison Kevin . I did lose an EL34 tube replaces it . The Adaptive AutoBias really works well.
